Local prayer services for people of Emmanuel AME Church

Cathedral of Hope will have an hour of prayer in solidarity with Emmanuel AME Church in Charleston and for an end to racism and gun violence at 7 p.m. tonight, Thursday June 18, at the Interfaith Peace Chapel, 5910 Cedar Springs Road.

Cathedral of Hope names new senior pastor

The Reverend Dr. Neil G Cazares-Thomas is ordained with Metropolitan Community Churches and currently serves Founders MCC in Los Angeles. His Facebook page says he has been part of MCC for 33 years.
