Dallas to celebrate Earth Day with Fair Park, Oak Cliff events this weekend
Two Earth Day celebrations take place this weekend — a two-day event in Fair Park and a Sunday afternoon bash in Oak Cliff. Fair Park’s a great place to learn about saving energy and view exhibits. But Oak Cliff’s mostly gay-organized afternoon is pet-friendly with plenty of free parking. (This is Dallas. And yes, we’re going to drive to Earth Day — at least until we get our trolley next year.) Gay Oak Cliff preservationist appointed to Dallas Landmark Commission
